Port Jefferson, New York, August 4, 2009 – Wide World of Stocks™, a new 30-minute taped television and website program that seeks to showcase microcap stocks, will feature Location Based Technologies, Inc., a Nevada corporation (OTCBB:LBAS) in its second episode. Production begins the week of August 3, 2009, and the broadcast schedule will be posted online at the Wide World of Stocks website, www.wideworldofstocks.com, as air time is purchased. After the initial television broadcast (date and time TBD), the program will also be available for viewing online at the Wide World of Stocks  website.

Location Based Technologies, Inc. is in the pre-production stage of manufacturing PocketFinder™ personal locators.
